You can start by filling out our free quote form, sending us an email at smartmerchdesign@gmail.com, or ordering directly through our Etsy store. For custom bulk orders, the quote form is the fastest route.
For screen-printed apparel, the minimum is typically 12 units. For DTG (direct-to-garment) printing, there's no minimum — you can order just 1. Promotional products vary by item. Check our pricing page for details by tier.
Yes! For screen printing, the minimums apply to the total run, not each size or color. So you can order a mix of S/M/L/XL and hit the minimum across all sizes combined. Color of the garment may affect pricing.
We provide digital mockups before every order so you can see exactly how the print will look. Physical blank or decorated samples can be requested for larger planned orders, especially when you are comparing fit, fabric, color, or decoration quality. Request samples →
✏️ Design & Artwork
For best results, submit your artwork as a vector file (AI, EPS, SVG, or PDF) with fonts outlined. We also accept high-resolution transparent PNG files for many digital print methods. If you only have a low-res file, we offer artwork cleanup and vectorization starting at $50.

We offer unlimited revisions on mockups before you approve. We'd rather tweak it until it's perfect than send you something you're not happy with. Once you approve the final proof, production begins.

Screen printing uses ink pressed through a mesh screen — it's more durable, more vibrant, and cost-effective for large runs (12+ units). DTG (Direct-to-Garment) prints full-color designs digitally onto the fabric — great for small runs, complex artwork, or 1-of-1 pieces. We'll recommend the best method for your project.
Yes! Embroidery is available for hats, polos, bags, jackets, and more. It gives a premium, textured look and is incredibly durable. Minimum is typically 12 units. We'll digitize your artwork for embroidery at no extra charge for most designs.
We do our best to match your colors as closely as possible using PMS (Pantone Matching System) for screen printing. Monitor colors can vary, so for exact color matching, please provide a PMS color code. DTG printing is full-color but may vary slightly from screen to print.
💰 Pricing & Payment
It depends on the product, quantity, print method, and number of colors. As a general guide, custom apparel starts around $8–$18 per unit depending on order size. Get an exact quote using our quote form — it's free and fast.
Screen printing has a one-time setup fee per color per location (typically $25–$40 per screen). This covers creating the screens for your design. For DTG and embroidery, digitization may have a one-time fee. These are always disclosed upfront in your quote.
We accept all major credit cards, PayPal, Venmo, and bank transfer for large orders. Etsy orders can be paid through Etsy's secure checkout. A 50% deposit is required to begin production on custom orders.
📦 Shipping & Delivery
Standard turnaround is 7–10 business days after proof approval. Rush orders can sometimes be completed in 48–72 hours for an additional fee, depending on blank availability, artwork readiness, production capacity, and shipping. See rush order details →
Yes — we ship anywhere in the continental United States via UPS, FedEx, and USPS. Expedited and overnight shipping options are available. International shipping is available for select orders — contact us for details.

We stand behind everything we produce. If your order has a defect, printing error, or doesn't match the approved proof, we'll reprint or refund — no questions asked. Contact us within 14 days of receiving your order.
Because custom orders are made specifically for you, we can't accept returns due to a change of mind or incorrect sizing if the right sizes were submitted. However, if the order doesn't match your approved proof, we make it right every time.
